NORTH CANBERRA ECUMENICAL NATIVITY FESTIVAL
The communities of Rosary Catholic Church, Holy Cross Anglican Church and St Margaret’s Uniting Church are collaborating in an Ecumenical “Nativity Festival” with diverse activities from Wed 11th Dec to Sun 15th Dec. We would be most grateful if you could advertise this Festival to your community.
Christmas has become so commercialised that the Gospel story of the Incarnation comes a distant last to presents, bells, baubles and Santa. This Ecumenical Festival aims to put Christ back into Christmas. A display of some 200 nativity scenes from 40 countries provides a great catalyst for discussions and activities about the true meaning of Christmas.
Details of the Festival are below.
